He started publishing few of his early short stories and poems in some local news papers and Magazines. When he was just fifteen years old, he finished his first Novel Bahurupi, just before appearing Class 10 Board Exams.
Along with his studies, he started his first job as an Accountant in the cooperative society of Monabari Tea Estate.
